GoldenGael Natural Beef

GoldenGael Farm is entering their seventh year of raising “Natural” beef.  All of our beef cattle have been raised right here at GoldenGael since birth.  We raise our beef with the animal and the consumer in mind.  They have been fed only the highest quality of grains, fruits, and vegetables on a daily basis since weaning.  In addition to constant pasture grazing, they have quality hay on a “free feed” basis.   No processed feeds containing chemicals, growth hormones or antibiotics have been used on any of our beef cattle.  As a result of the “Natural” prescribed diet, there are no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.  We do not use bulls or cows in our beef production, only young steers.  All of this special care and attention allows you and your family to receive healthy, lean, and tender beef.

Because we prefer our beef to be offered for sale at a young age (under 24 mos.) we can assure you will receive lean beef with minimal fat cores.  A side of beef can range between 350-475 pounds.  The price per pound includes custom cutting, wrapping and delivery.  Since “Natural Lean Beef” cooks in 1/3 less time, you will also receive a booklet of instructions.   All of our beef is handled at a USDA inspected facility.  We are personally on site to inspect each side and then oversee the custom cut orders.  The last grade of the ground beef was 98%-99% lean!  The feedback has been greater than anticipated, yet fully expected. 

We are currently running stock of Hereford, Black Angus, Black Angus cross and Limousin.

GoldenGael Beef is a custom order process.   We require a deposit of $800 for a side of beef and $1200 for a whole steer.

Next finishing is scheduled for late  September, early October for November delivery.
